You will probably not have overlooked one important element in connection with this question of the grant of Irish visas to Jews so as to alleviate the hardship of their situation, viz. that it would be necessary that they hold passports. It is doubtful whether a Jew, not authorised to emigrate, would now be granted a passport by the German authorities.
